Buy, Sell, Hold for Fantasy Football Week 4: Final Call on Kenyon Sadiq

Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times, and I’m selling.

Let’s move into Buy, Sell, Hold for Week 4. But first:

Consider all context when trading.

Here are some players to consider as Buys, Sells, and Holds moving into Week 4.

BUY: Before the Explosion

Kenyon Sadiq | TE | NYJ

(If you’re reading this before Wednesday, grab him off of waivers.)

I really, really want a piece of the TE action in New York. Not only has Geno Smith looked better as the season has moved along (QB3 in Week 3), but Kenyon Sadiq has become a direct beneficiary.

Week 3: 7-105-1 (TE4)

Remember, this isn’t some fluke. Sadiq was touted this offseason, too.

Sadiq ran the fastest 40 at the position in NFL history (4.39 seconds). And now, his current stats are keeping him in the conversation with guys like:

What do those TEs have in common? They are the only TEs averaging more YPRR than Sadiq through three weeks.

Hot damn.

With only one top-10 week under his belt, I’m looking to secure Sadiq on my roster before the cost rises.

Emmett Johnson | RB | KC

Emmet Johnson is another guy that I want on my roster before I NEED him.

Yes, he is the backup to Kenneth Walker.
Yes, he hasn’t rushed for more than 24 yards in a game this season.
Yes, he may not have any standalone value.

But he looks great on film, and he’s making the most of his receiving work:

Week 1: 22 yards per target
Week 2: 10 yards per target

I’m not usually a “get this handcuff RB early” kind of girl, but Johnson is the one I want.

Zay Flowers | WR | BAL

If there’s any player I’m looking to buy before he starts to have a resurgence, it’s the WR1 in Baltimore.

Despite starting off hot, Zay Flowers was out Week 2 with a hamstring injury. And guess what? It didn’t matter. Flowers is still currently ranked as the WR17, despite only running 25 total routes this season.

Week 1: 5-150-1
Week 2: Out
Week 3: 5-84-0

Week 3 might be the floor, ladies and gentlemen.

This could be your last chance to get in on Flowers before his managers start to respond to your trade negotiations with “No chance in hell.”

It’s Backup QB Season

I am buyinggggg.

With the QB play this year, it’s hard to ignore the success of the backup QBs. From disappointing starters like Drake Maye, Baker Mayfield and Justin Herbert, I’m buying the backup hype.

It started with Drew Lock and has extended in Week 3:

Case Keenum: 24-247-2 (QB7)
Marcus Mariota: 19-183-3 (QB14)

So, don’t feel ashamed to plug and play some backups if needed. You know… if your starter is Drake Maye.

Speaking of…

SELL: The Big Name

OK, I'm out.

Drake Maye | QB | NE

First, it was the “ease of schedule” taunts in 2025 that made me wary. Then, it was the offseason antics of his coach in 2026.

And now, quite frankly, it’s Drake Maye’s gameplay.

I cannot advise starting a guy who:

Has scored fewer fantasy points than 33 other QBs this season
Has thrown six INTs through three games
Has a fantasy point floor that I can count on one hand

If no one wants him, fine. Send him out into the waters. I’d rather play Geno Smith or another guy off waivers.

HOLD: The Inevitable

Rhamondre Stevenson | RB | NE

I’ve said it before. I’ll reluctantly say it again: Rhamondre Stevenson is f*cking inevitable.

Even after Week 2, where it looked like Mike Vrabel had finally put Stevenson in the doghouse for a fumble—NOPE! Stevenson continues to get the prodigal RB1 treatment in Week 3 (despite a piss poor fantasy performance):

Routes run: Stevenson 19/Henderson 8
Snaps: 32 Stevenson /Henderson 17

The issue here is the offense is bad, and Drake Maye can’t keep the ball in his teammates’ hands. So if you want to sell, I wouldn’t judge you in the slightest. But there are likely some good days ahead if New England can figure their sh*t out.
